When people think about Siem Reap, Cambodia, the first thing that probably comes to mind is the magnificent Angkor Wat. However, there’s more to this charming city than its ancient temples.
During my visit, I also enjoyed exploring its café scene. As someone who loves discovering cozy cafés with unique interiors and good food, I was happy to find a few lovely places worth sharing.

Whether you’re looking for a beautiful spot to enjoy your morning coffee, a place to have a delicious meal, or somewhere to relax after exploring the temples, Siem Reap has some wonderful cafés worth discovering.
In this article, I’m sharing three cafés that I highly recommend visiting based on my personal experience. Each one offers something different, from unique interiors and delicious breakfast options to a lovely second-floor setting where you can enjoy the sunset.
So, if you’re planning a trip to Siem Reap, grab your coffee and let’s explore these three cafés together! ☕✨
1. Footprint Cafés — A Hidden Gem with a Unique Interior
📍 Location: Street 26, Wat Bo Village, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia, Postal Code 17254
🕒 Opening hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM
First impressions
During my stay in Siem Reap, I was staying near Footprint Cafés, so it was a convenient place for me to visit.
From the outside, the café looks quite small. However, don’t let its appearance fool you! Once you step inside, you’ll discover a lovely café with a second floor and a surprisingly unique interior.
What I particularly liked was its classic yet distinctive atmosphere. The café has so many interesting corners and beautiful photo spots that I couldn’t help but appreciate its interior design.
If you enjoy taking aesthetic café photos like I do, you’ll definitely want to bring your camera! Kkkkk. 📸
More than just a coffee shop
One thing that makes Footprint Cafés special is that it offers more than just coffee and a beautiful space.
The café has a separate meeting room or private space where customers can make video calls without disturbing other people. I think this is a thoughtful feature, especially for digital nomads, remote workers, or anyone who needs a quieter place to work.
Another lovely detail is its small library, where you can borrow a book and enjoy some peaceful reading time with your coffee. There’s even a small piano that adds to the café’s classic charm.
I also loved the greenery inside. The plants bring a refreshing touch to the interior, making the space feel cozy and inviting.
Honestly, it’s the kind of café where you could easily spend hours without realizing how much time has passed. 💚
What I ordered
During my visit, I ordered a latte and a blueberry matcha latte.
Both drinks were good, and I was happy with the quality. The prices were also reasonable, which made the experience even better.
I always appreciate cafés that offer a lovely atmosphere without making you feel like you’re paying only for the interior.
Would I recommend Footprint Cafés?
Absolutely!
Footprint Cafés is definitely a place I’d recommend adding to your Siem Reap café list.
Whether you’re a coffee lover, a remote worker looking for a comfortable place to work, a book lover, or someone who enjoys taking photos in beautiful spaces, this café has something to offer.
For me, the combination of its unique interior, little library, piano, greenery, and good coffee makes it worth visiting.
If you’re exploring the Wat Bo area, don’t judge this café by its exterior. Step inside and discover its charm for yourself!
2. ASAGOHAN Café & Eatery — A Great Spot for Delicious Food
📍 Location: In front of Phalla Angkor Night Market, Angkor Night Market Street, Krong Siem Reap 171202, Cambodia
🕒 Opening hours: 7:00 AM – 9:30 PM
First impressions
I discovered ASAGOHAN Café & Eatery while exploring the Pub Street area in Siem Reap.
The first thing that caught my attention was the café’s exterior. It looked aesthetically pleasing, with plenty of greenery that gave the place a fresh and inviting atmosphere.
Although the café doesn’t have as many photo spots as Footprint Cafés, I decided to give it a try, especially because I was looking for somewhere to have breakfast.
And honestly, I was pleasantly surprised!
The food was surprisingly delicious!
I visited ASAGOHAN during breakfast, and the café was already quite busy, with plenty of people coming in to enjoy their meals.
What impressed me the most was the food. Everything I ordered was delicious, and the service was nice too, making the whole dining experience even better.
I ordered a sandwich and salmon eggs Benedict, accompanied by a green juice and a lemon matcha.
The food was so good that I would happily return just to eat here again!
Another lovely surprise was that they served me a complimentary fruit platter. It was such a nice little touch that made my breakfast experience even better. 🍓🍊
What about the prices?
One thing I appreciated about ASAGOHAN was that the prices were reasonable.
Depending on the menu option, drinks were included in the meal price. However, some drinks, including matcha and selected beverages, came with an additional charge.
I’d recommend checking the menu carefully when ordering so you know exactly what’s included in the price.
For me, the combination of delicious food, nice service, and reasonable prices made this café a great find.
A café for breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Another reason to consider visiting ASAGOHAN is that it serves food throughout the day, from breakfast to lunch and dinner.
This makes it a convenient option if you’re exploring Siem Reap and aren’t sure where to stop for a meal.
Its location near Pub Street and Angkor Night Market also makes it easy to include in your itinerary. You could stop by for breakfast before starting your day of sightseeing or return later for another meal.
Would I recommend ASAGOHAN Café & Eatery?
Definitely!
If you’re looking for a place to eat in Siem Reap and don’t know where to go, I’d highly recommend giving ASAGOHAN a try.
While it might not be the first café I’d choose specifically for taking aesthetic photos, the delicious food, nice service, and reasonable prices more than make up for that.
Sometimes, a good café isn’t just about having a beautiful interior. It’s also about enjoying a satisfying meal and leaving happy.
And ASAGOHAN did exactly that for me!
So, if you’re around Pub Street and feeling hungry, why not give this place a visit? You might be pleasantly surprised, just like I was. ☕🍳
3. Dialogue — Delicious Beef Noodles and a Lovely Sunset View
📍 Location: Street 27, Krong Siem Reap, Cambodia (9V35+HF3), located at Angkor Village Hotel
🕒 Opening hours: 7:00 AM – 12:00 AM (midnight)

First impressions
The third café I want to recommend is Dialogue, located at Angkor Village Hotel in Siem Reap.
I visited this place for lunch and immediately liked its classic interior and welcoming atmosphere. Dialogue is also a popular spot, so it’s worth adding to your list if you’re exploring Siem Reap and looking for somewhere nice to enjoy a meal.
One thing I particularly recommend is checking out the second floor!
Don’t miss the second floor!
Dialogue has a second-floor seating area that offers a more private atmosphere. Although there aren’t as many seats upstairs, I think it’s worth checking out, especially if you prefer a quieter place to relax.
Another reason to visit the second floor is the opportunity to enjoy the sunset. 🌅
Imagine sitting upstairs, enjoying your food or a drink while watching the sky change colors at the end of the day. It sounds like a lovely way to slow down after a busy day of sightseeing.
If you’re planning to visit around sunset, I’d recommend asking the staff about the best time to go upstairs and whether seating is available.
What I ordered
During my visit, I ordered three dishes: Pad Thai, beef noodles, and chicken wings.
While I enjoyed trying different dishes, the beef noodles were definitely my favorite! They were so delicious that I highly recommend ordering them if you visit Dialogue.
If you’re unsure what to eat, consider giving the beef noodles a try. For me, they were the highlight of the meal!
The staff were also nice, which made the dining experience even more enjoyable.
Prices and atmosphere
Another thing I appreciated about Dialogue was its reasonable pricing.
The classic interior gives the place a comfortable atmosphere, making it suitable for enjoying lunch, having a casual meal with friends, or taking a break during your Siem Reap adventure.
Although the second floor has limited seating, its more private setting and sunset views make it worth exploring.
Would I recommend Dialogue?
Absolutely!
If you’re looking for a nice place to enjoy a meal in Siem Reap, Dialogue is worth considering.
My biggest recommendations are to try the beef noodles and check out the second floor, especially if you’d like to enjoy a more private atmosphere with a sunset view.
For me, delicious food, friendly staff, and a comfortable setting are always a good combination. Dialogue offers all three reasons to add it to your Siem Reap itinerary!
So, if you have time during your visit, why not stop by and discover it for yourself?

Final Thoughts — Are These Cafés Worth Visiting?
For me, discovering cafés is one of the enjoyable parts of traveling. It’s not always about finding the most famous place or the most Instagrammable interior. These three cafés offered different experiences during my visit to Siem Reap.
Footprint Cafés impressed me with its unique interior, little library, piano, and greenery. ASAGOHAN Café & Eatery surprised me with its delicious food, nice service, and reasonable prices.
